Abstract

A very high‐yielding reaction of bis(o‐nitrophenyl) carbonate with aliphatic amines under mild conditions has been developed. The resulting o‐nitrophenyl carbamates were characterized by IR, 1H‐NMR, 13C‐NMR, and elemental analysis.
