Abstract
Fast high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis of iso-α-acids and of α- and β-acids was performed. Sample preparation was reduced to a minimum. The time of the H PLC run for beer and hops or hop extract analysis was reduced to 5 min. 2,6-Di-tertiary butylphenol was used as an internal standard for iso-a-acids analysis. The p-nitroanilide of myristic acid was used as an internal standard for α-acids analysis.
