A scale for assessing left‐right confusion

Abstract

A six‐item scale adapted from McMonnies1 designed to investigate the degree of difficulties experienced in discriminating between left from right, was administered to a wide sample of educated adults. Proportions of problems obtained were similar to School of Social Sciences and Liberal those reported in the earlier study. Reliability data were obtained and two performance Studies, Charles Sturt University measures were tested as a behavioural validation of the scale.
