Welcome to Volume 9, Issue 1 of Engineering Education – a journal of the Higher Education Academy. There is an excellent range of papers covering control engineering, the integration of international students, professional competences, professional awareness, and the statement and measurement of programme outcomes.
My hope is that you find these papers both scholarly and useful. The quality of content of the journal results of course from the work of our authors. But another vital component is the input of our reviewers whose generous contributions give authors perceptive and constructive feedback which I know they appreciate highly.
