Abstract
This study investigated psychometric properties of the Revised Developmental Work Personality Scale (RDWPS). Results yielded a 14-item three-factor model that aligns with the original DWPS and fits the data very well. RDWPS scores were useful in predicting the resolution of Erikson’s fourth stage of development, indicating construct validity.

Deirdre O’Sullivan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education at the Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests focus on work personality and stigma for persons living with disabilities.
David R. Strauser
David R. Strauser is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His primary research focus is the occupational development of young adult CNS survivors and their families.
