New ISH website

Welcome to the new ISH website: www.ishworld.org.

It is a great pleasure for me to invite you all to visit the new ISH website, and have it as a high-priority resource site for the Society and in hematology. We expect you to share your scientific contributions, critical views, news, meetings, events, multidisciplinary efforts in research and education, as often as possible. Your access to the sections of the website will be very fast and up-to-date information will be easily available.

In its current format, the home-page is easy to navigate through its sections (see the image below). The main sections and subsections are listed as below:

The ISH website also includes a “What's New?” section which will be reporting cutting-edge research articles and news in basic, clinical and laboratory hematology. This important section will be frequently updated with the latest important papers and breaking news in hematology.

We are proud to share our redesigned website which will create an educational platform and will form a bridge between ISH members and the Society. This new ISH website is designed to provide a user friendly format with high-quality contents in basic, clinical, laboratory hematology and innovations in the field. In the coming months, we will be able to have webinars and similar digital educational facilities on the website.

We invite you to be a ISH Member and friendly contributor of the website. All members will be able to reach the official journal of ISH, Hematology. As a member of ISH, we expect you to play an important role in expanding the website, continuous support and improving state-of-art resources in hematology. We believe this new initiative will greatly help the ISH's mission to serve and educate the global hematology community.

The ISH website is now also on Facebook (facebook.com/ishworld) and Twitter (twitter.com/IshHematology) (@IshHematology).

I would like express our gratitude to my predecessors Prof. Guillermo Ruiz-Arguelles, Prof. David Gomez Almaguer and Prof. Saengsuree Jootar for their outstanding efforts to create and maintain the ISH website.

We look forward to receiving your kind contributions, creative suggestions and fruitful collaborations to have an excellent digital interface in ISH. We encourage you all to use the website as your primary resource for ISH.

Respectfully,

Emin Kansu,M.D.,FACP

ISH Chair of Council
