Abstract
To enhance the prediction accuracy of long-term concrete creep, creep tests for five groups of self-compacting concrete with different loading ages were conducted. Based on the test data, this paper reviewed the accuracy of conventional concrete creep prediction models including GL2000, B3 and CEB-FIP (1990). Through comparisons of the variant coefficients, the prediction accuracy of the different models was analysed. The results showed that these three models underestimate the creep compliance of self-compacting concrete and that GL2000 fits best with the experimental data. Furthermore, five new creep prediction models of different loading ages based on the comprehensive analyses were proposed. Comparisons of the results of the proposed methods with measured data of creep compliance showed good agreement.
