Abstract

Erythritol is now used as an environmentally friendly phase change material with high latent heat in heat transportation industry. Many scholars and experts now focus on the additives to improve the heat conductivity of erythritol, but because of stratification between phase change material and additives, during preparation, the stability and heat transfer efficiency deteriorates. In this study, nano-metal particle additive was added into the erythritol. Ultrasonic shaking and dispersant were introduced to improve the homogeneity of phase change composite. The mechanism of property improvement is also explained, respectively, from the formation of reunion, force analysis of nano-copper particle, double layer effect and ultrasonic dispersion effect.
