Abstract

The case of a 68-year-old woman presenting with back pain and some leg pain is described, together with the difficulties of diagnosis and her progressive development of leg weakness. Tests for borreliosis (Lyme disease) were found to be positive. Features of neuroborreliosis are discussed in relation to this case.
