Pages 96-99 | Published online: 20 Nov 2009

Abstract

There is an increasing need to include consideration of ethnic issues in teaching the psychology of women. This article recommends specific topics to provide more in-depth treatment of ethnic perspectives for teaching the psychology of women class. In addition, questions designed to facilitate discussion of the gender-ethnicity interaction as well as guidelines for directing such discussions are presented. The recommended topics and discussion questions should be considered only a beginning in the effort to develop a multiethnic perspective.
