Abstract
The author presents a description of a supervisory training model that was conducted in the state of Wisconsin for clinical supervisors of chemical dependency counselor supervisors. A brief account of the genesis of the project is provided, followed by a more specific description of each of the four areas of instruction. The article concludes with a summary of the project, a brief discussion of the quantitative evaluation plan, and a call for further projects of this nature to continue the development of a more professional conceptualization of clinical supervision within the chemical dependency treatment field.
