Ethical Issues in Group Work: What Are They? How Are They Managed?

ABSTRACT

Professional codes of ethics offer little direction for group practitioners. The article reports the findings of a study which queried social group work practitioners. Several ethical issues unique to group practice are identified. The frequencies with which specific issues are faced and those resources utilized to manage the dilemmas are identified. Implications for professional codes of ethics are discussed.
