Alcohol Use and Abuse Among Latinos

SUMMARY

This paper will identify some of the key barriers for developing a better understanding of the impact of alcohol use and abuse among Latinos in the United States. Examples of culturally competent approaches to better researching and serving Latinos are presented to facilitate service provision to this population.
