Worksite size is a strong indicator of worksite health promotion (WHP) and employee assistance (EAP) activity. While the majority of WHP and EAP services are provided to employees working in large organizations, the majority of the work force is employed in worksites with fewer than 50 employees (Fielding, 1991).
