The AA “Home Group” Effect: There's No Place Like Home

ABSTRACT

Group differences were examined among five separate Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) clubs in Southern New Jersey. Significant differences found between two of the five AA groups including the number of weekly meetings attended and the length of sobriety. Styles of group interactions with newcomers also differed.
