Learning from Students' Perceptions of International Business

Pages 99-112 | Published online: 22 Sep 2008

SUMMARY

The debate continues on the internationalization of the business curricula. However, little attention has been given on how undergraduate students actually feel about international business. While students should not be the source for prescriptives on how to teach a course, their views on certain issues can help provide the framework for the development and integration of international business in existing courses and/or the current business curricula. This paper discusses issues pertaining to undergraduate business students' perceptions on international business. Students from a non-urban regional state university, which currently does not offer a degree or certification program in international business, are utilized in this Study.
