Abstract

Consumer Research Associates from the Suffolk University Center for Public Management conducted three needs surveys in 1997,2000, and 2005 titled “Voices of Experience,” with approximately 450 peer interviews conducted each year. These surveys were used to assess changing service needs, outcomes, and consumer satisfaction for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWH) and to monitor service delivery in the Boston Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) located in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire of the Ryan White Care Act Title I and Massachusetts Title II and state-funded programs. The assessments support the importance of continuing to adequately fund a broad mix of services to support the medical and social service needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS.
