Erratum: Notice of Redundant Publication

Mikkael A Sekeres. The myelodysplastic syndromes. Exp Opin Invest Drugs 2007, 7(3): Pages 369-377 [1].

This article contains some information also reported in a previously published article:

Sekeres MA, List A. Immunomodulation in myelodysplastic syndromes. Best Pract Res Clin Haematol. 2006;19(4):757-67 [2].

While some similarity between the articles occurs in the background and introduction sections, Sekeres [1] reports considerable additional information, including discussing therapies which were in development at the time of writing.

The editors of Expert Opinion on Biological Therapy and the authors of the article regret that the earlier publication was not referenced and would like to apologise for the oversight.
