Nonsurgical treatment options for nonmelanoma skin cancers

Abstract

Nonmelanoma is an increasingly important condition that places a huge burden on healthcare services worldwide. Traditionally, surgical approaches have provided the mainstay of therapy. More recently, a number of nonsurgical therapies have become established in the treatment of this cancer. This review focuses on the newer of these therapies together with an assessment of some older modalities.
