Abstract

By using a combination of series of investigations on human subjects in the human centrifuge and neurophysiological experiments on the cat it has been possible to solve the problem of the influence of the saccule and the utricle on the oculomem otor systand the cooperation between the two organs during linear accelerations on different planes.
