Differentiation of Cochlear Afferent Neurons

Abstract

In order to clarify some open questions, the various types of afferent neurons of the cochlea were analysed in various species regarding their structural features, their association with outer or inner hair cells and their connection to the CNS, by means of degeneration experiments and tracer studies.
