Abstract

The effect of varying high-pass filter cut-off on the development of the early auditory-evoked responses has been studied in 6 kittens. Waves III—V appear at earlier postnatal ages when filter cut-off is raised, and the time-course of wave amplitude maturation is also determined by filter bandwidth.
