Abstract
The plasma coagulation system was studied in a patient with chronic nephritis, and comparative studies were done in three other patients with renal failure. All plasmas showed a hypercoagulable state, with relatively short cephalin times and hypernormal values for fibrinogen, AHA and AHB.
