Periodical Weekly Variations of Serum Bilirubin Concentration in Women

Abstract

Blood serum concentrations of total bilirubin, unconjugated bilirubin, and bilirubin diglucuronide in five healthy adult females showed no variation with the menstrual cycle, but were significantly lower on Mondays than on Wednesdays and Fridays. This may be due to sun-bathing during the weekends.
