Notes

Notes

1. For the purpose of this article and to avoid any uncertainties, we will follow the Polish educational nomenclature, using the term “undergraduate education” to address all post high-school, university-level educational activities before obtaining the Bologna 2nd cycle master's degree or its equivalent, for example, “lekarz” (Doctor of Medicine – MD). The Doctor of Medicine degree is not related to the Ph.D. degree being a postgraduate, research-based (Bologna 3rd cycle) academic grade.
