Abstract

A 43-year-old female with a history of breast adenocarcinoma developed an episodic oculomotor nerve palsy of the right eye. Subsequent evaluation and work-up revealed the presence of leptomeningeal metastatic adenocarcinoma. In the absence of additional findings to explain the cause of her intermittent oculomotor palsy, we diagnosed the episodic oculomotor nerve palsy as secondary to her metastatic disease.
