Erratum

In the Journal of Asthma (2012;49:70–77) for the article “Budesonide/formoterol pressurized metered-dose inhaler versus budesonide: a randomized controlled trial in black patients with asthma,” the authors have noticed a need for data clarification since publication. In the section “Results” and subsection “Patients,” the sentence that reads “Two of 153 patients (1.3%) in the BUD/FM pMDI group were treated with ICS/LABA at study entry” should read “Before study entry, 105 of 153 patients (68.6%) in the BUD/FM pMDI group and 94 of 155 patients (60.6%) in the BUD DPI group were receiving ICS/LABA treatment. At study entry, 2 of 153 patients (1.3%) in the BUD/FM pMDI group and 0 patients in the BUD DPI group were treated with ICS/LABA concomitantly.”
