Abstract
The vascular toxicity of an acrylic film wound dressing applied in an ethyl acetate vehicle has been studied. Severe superficial tissue damage has been noted consisting of hemolysis, blood vessel damage, cessation of blood flow, and resulting tissue death. The implications of these findings have been discussed.
