Abstract
A pilot study of 50 geriatric patients linked the ICD classification with the ICIDH in EDP-based registration of hospital patients. The ICIDH fulfils the demands of a systematic and quantitative evaluation of the consequences of disease, and is useful for assessing the needs for aids and assistance, including institutional care.
