In the review article of the issue of Immunopharmacology and Immunotoxicology (2010; 32(2): 208–218), entitled “Lentiviral vectors for immune cells targeting”, it appears that a citation was mistakenly appropriated. We would like to acknowledge that we mistakenly referenced the paper (Chandrashekran et al., Blood, 2004, 104:2697-2703), which targets transduction to c-kit expressing cells by displaying stem cell factor (SCF) on ecotropic retroviruses. This is different from the inverse targeting achieved by Fielding et al. (Blood, 1998, 91:1802-1809) in which incorporation of the SCF chimeric envelope with the amphotropic envelope, the infectivity was inhibited on c-kit-expressing cells. In order to correct this mistake, a corrigendum should acknowledge that on the left column (the 26th line) of the Page 214, the citation 115 should be reference 105.
