Abstract

A simplified and improved staining procedure based on the Movat pentachrome I stain has been devised by substituting the van Gieson procedure for the saffron du Gatineau and woodstain scarlet portions of Movat's method, and by the use of commercially prepared resorcin-fuchsin for the staining of elastica.
