Is all your Schuell really necessary?

Abstract

Summary

The Schuell is an extensive and time consuming test, which has encouraged clinicians to eliminate items on an ad hoc basis.

The purpose of this paper is to discuss an item analysis of the Schuell so as to create a shorter form of the test. Results based on 88 patients are presented, and a potential short form of the test discussed.
