Risk factors related to poor outcome after methanol poisoning and the relation between outcome and antidotes –a multicenter study

Raido Paasma, Knut Erik Hovda, Hossein Hassanian-Moghaddam, Nozha Brahmi, Reza Afshari, Leiv Sandvik, and Dag Jacobsen, Clinical Toxicology, Volume 50, Issue 9, pp 823–831.

The authors have submitted the following statement:

It appears there is a small error in Fig 2 in our paper, where some of the patients have been displaced. We are sincerely grateful to the team in London with Drs. Dargan, Wood, Archer et al who made us aware of this. There are a total of 200 patients, as three were not registered (one dead, two survived) with their state of consciousness (as seen in Table 1). Attached is the corrected figure – there is no fundamental change to any of the results based on this error, but there is a slightly stronger difference in the odds ratio (OR) as compared to the last figure. We apologize for the inconvenience.
