Abstract

The live relay of television pictures showing endoscopy procedures as part of a teaching meeting is described in full. The equipment, theatre layout and camera techniques are discussed as well as the use of animation and other graphics. The way in which the exercise was managed, using several relatively inexperienced people, is described.
