Due to an oversight on our part, the article “Developing self-sustainable hearing centers in the developing world – case study of EARs Inc project in Dominican Republic” by Carkeet et al., originally published in Disability and Rehabilitation: Assistive Technology, 2014; Vol: 9, Issue: 5 pp 391–398 was repeated in the same issue under the title “Service, training and outreach – the EARS Inc. Model for a self-sustainable hearing program in action” pp 383–390. As a result we withdraw the duplicated article on page 391 from publication.
