Summary
In a group of 49 patients with rheumatoid arthritis, the serum iron level was normal in 16 per cent, decreased in the rest. 24 patients were treated with sanocrysin in a total dose of more than 1,000 mg. In this group the serum iron level became normal in a further 38 per cent.

Dans un groupe de 49 malades affectés de polyarthrite chronique évolutive, le taux du fer du sérum était normal dans 16 pour cent des cas, abaissé chez les autres. 24 malades ont été traités par la sanocrysine à une dose totale de plus de 1.000 mg. Dans ce groupe le taux du fer du sérum atteignit ultérieurement la normale dans 38 pour cent des cas.
Zusammenfassung
Bei einer Gruppe von 49 Patienten mit chronischem Gelenkrheumatismus war der Serum-Eisenspiegel bei 16 % normal, bei den übrigen herabgesetzt. 24 Patienten wurden mit Sanocrysin und einer Totaldosis von mehr als 1.000 mg behandelt. Bei dieser Gruppe wurde der Serum-Eisenspiegel in weiteren 38 % normal.
