- In addition to Mach's autobiographical manuscripts there exist many comments on his childhood in his Analysis of sensations and other publications, his sister Marie's anonymously authored autobiography Erinnerungen einer Erzieherin Vienna 1913 and his correspondence in the Ernst-Mach-Institut in Freiburg im Breisgau. There are also numerous informative family documents in the hands of Frau Anna Karma Mach in Vaterstetten, Bavaria. There are even published articles and unpublished manuscripts by Mach's father, Johann. For more exact particulars see the Bibliography and index of my book on Mach.
