  • In this connection an interesting contribution is D. Benner's book Theorie und Praxis. Systemtheoretische Betrachtungen zu Hegel und Marx (Vienna, 1966), a book whose treatment of Marx is limited to the early writings. Entirely different and in its transcendental analysis less self-sufficient, but at the same time thematically comprehensive, is R. Rosdolsky's Zur Entstehungsgeschichte des Marxschen ‘Kapital’ (Frankfurt, 1968).
