  • A quick glance at the table of contents reveals that the words ‘negativity’, ‘restlessness’, or the closely associated ‘death’, figure in the majority of the titles, from Jean Wahl's 1929 ‘Mediation, Negativity, and Separation’ to Jean-Luc Nancy's Hegel: The Restlessness of the Negative, whose English translation appeared in 1997.
