- The following is a translation of “Die Herkunft der Kunst und die Bestimmung des Denkens” (Vortrag in der Akademie der Wissenschaften und Künste in Athen 4. April 1967) by Dimitrios Latsis, translation reviewed and amended by Ullrich Haase. The text has been published in German (from the author's manuscript) in Distanz und Nähe, edsP. Jaeger & R. Lüthe (Würzburg: Königshausen + Neumann, 1983), 11–22 and in Denkerfahrungen: 1910–1976, ed.Hermann Heidegger (Frankfurt: Klostermann, 1983), 135–152; it will also eventually be included in Volume 80 of the Heidegger Gesamtausgabe.
