  • Larinus lindblomi Auriv Ark. Zool. 1926 xviii 23 28 28 athe description of which was based on two specimens from “British East Africa” (without further indication of locality), and L. obesus Petri (Ent. Blätt. x. p. 99, 1914), based on two male examples from Abyssinia (Harrar), are considered by Sir Guy Marshall to be synonyms of L. abyssinicus Auriv., the description of which was based on one specimen from Addis Ababa (Bull. Mus. Hist. Nat. Paris, xviii. p. 364, 1912, and Voy. Maurice de Rothschild en Ethiopie et Afr. Or. Angl., Col, Curc., p. 743, pl. Ic.29, fig. 7, 1922).
