- 1854 . Ed In the Registers of 1859 and 1864 there is a Kate schooner of 58 tons built at Padstow in. Master: T. Jenkin. Owner: Jenkin and Co. 53′3 × 15′7 × 8′4. It seems more than likely that this is actually the Newquay vessel. []

She got a note to some seamen, who brought it to Mr Johns. He then took a ship to the place of her captivity and eventually got her away in a barrel
