  • Woolwich At the subsequent court-martial Captain Charles Knowles said that this was at 4 p.m. on the 12th (Civil Date; Sea Date was of course the 13th), but it must have been earlier, probably about 2 p.m. as bothLaunceston agree that they sailed at 3 p.m. Knowles used Civil Dates throughout his evidence but in the following I have preferred to use the Sea Dates since they are used in the logbooks
