  • We are aware of only one published paper reporting a comparison of the results of a non-local theory and simulation for a fluid undergoing a phase transition in confined geometry Freasier B.C. Nordholm S. J. chem. Phys. 1983 79 4431 4431 calculated the adsorption and solvation force for a L-J fluid confined between two parallel walls using a cruder version of the SDA. They compared their results with those of the simulation of: Lane, J. E., and Spurling, T. H., 1980, Aust. J. Chem., 33, 231.
