  • This tube is rated at 500 psi. Care should be taken to insure that tubes do not contain imperfections. The tube is to be fitted with a standard hand valve to simplify operations
  • Epoxides were obtained from Research Organic/Inorganic Chemical Corp. and were used without further purification except in one case. The 2-butene oxides (a mixture of meso, d, l) were separated by distillation with a Nester-Faust spinning band assembly to give pure meso, b.p. 59–60°.2
