The IR spectra in 1% CHCI3 soln. of 4a–h show absorption of associated O–H group in the range of 3490–3514 cm–1, and the characteristic for sulfonamides7 intensive bands at 1335–1342 and 1140–1150, and less intensive bands at 970–975, and 575–583 cm–1
