- It must be noted that the authors of [1] already used a deconvolution technique to separate the two modes (Goldstone and soft mode) at one fixed temperature inside the Sc* phase very close to the phase transition. Nevertheless they did not characterize and obtain the frequency and strength of the soft mode well inside the Sc* phase as a function of temperature without unwinding the helix in the ferroelectric phase
