- We designed a scale that was a combination of "the work involvement and job motivation" scales developed by Peter Warr et al at the Sheffield Institute of Work Psychology. These scales had been used in the late 1970s amongst redundant male manual workers. We made marginal changes in some of the wordings to bring them up to date. See Peter Warr.
