  • Master copies were seemingly also maintained elsewhere. A copy of Griffith's map in the office of the Geological Survey of Ireland bears upon the reverse of each segment a pencilled note to the effect that the map was coloured from the corrected copy in the Engineer's Office at Dublin Castle.
