  • It is worth noticing that this article does not give an evaluation of the effectiveness of each port state control regimes, as this cannot be determined from PSC data alone but only in combination of inspection data with casualty data. A combined analysis can be found in [16], which measured the effect of port state control towards the probability of casualty for each respective regime
